FAQ
Answers to questions we hear often. For your own situation, please contact us.
Do I need a lawyer if the police call me in for questioning?
You have the right to consult a lawyer of your choice before questioning and to have the lawyer present during it. It is sensible to contact us before you give any statement, even if you have been called as a witness.
How do I book a first meeting?
Call the office, email us or use the contact form. Meetings take place at our office in Limassol and, where appropriate, by video call.
Can you advise me in English?
Yes. We advise and correspond in both Greek and English.
How are your fees calculated?
At the start we tell you the approximate fee and how it is calculated (a fixed amount, a fee per stage or another arrangement), and we agree it in writing.
Can I get legal aid?
In some cases, especially criminal cases, the State provides legal aid under the Legal Aid Law if the conditions are met and the Court approves it. We will tell you if your case may qualify.
What should I bring to the first meeting?
Your ID card or passport, any documents about the matter (letters, contracts, summonses, decisions, messages) and a short timeline of events. If you do not have some of these, come anyway.
Do you take cases outside Limassol?
Yes. We represent clients before courts in every district of Cyprus.
Is what I tell you confidential?
Yes. Information you give us so that we can advise you is protected by professional secrecy, even if you do not go on to instruct us.
